Kim reveals how Kanye West rewarded her after she turned down a lucrative deal for his sake

Kim Kardashian was forced to turn down a lucrative deal from a clothing company because the company was her husband's competitor and Kanye West rewarded her greatly for her loyalty.

Kim Kardashian revealed the reward she got in a podcast on Tuesday as plus-size model Ashley Graham released the first episode of her new podcast, “Pretty Big Deal”.

Kim Kardashian was Ashley's first guest and they spoke about a lot, ranging from Kim’s daughter North West’s prom dress (she’s eyeing Kim’s gold cross Versace gown from the 2018 Met Gala) to Kim’s evolving relationship with fashion. But most notably, they touched on a recent extravagant Mother’s Day present Kim received from her husband, Kanye West.

Kim said that not long ago, a clothing brand that "typically knock off Yeezy" offered her a million dollars for a sponsored Instagram post. She told them she needed to discuss first with her husband who owns Yeezy. When she did, he told her he didn't want her taking the deal, so she let it go.

Mothers' Day was the following week and Kanye West made sure to surprise his wife for her loyalty

She added:
It was also a contract to be an owner of Yeezy, a full thick contract with my percentage.

Popular Nigerian lawmaker, Patrick Obahiagbon, pictured above kneeling as he begged Edo state APC members to vote for him so he can be the party's flagbearer in the Edo South Senatorial district election.

Journalist, Ena Ofugara,who shared the photo online, wrote;
''Barrister "Igodomigodo" Obahiagbon, the grandiloquent and highfalutin former legislator finds to his chagrin, discomfiture, mortification, peevishness and spleen that he must put aside his manhood, masculinity, machismo, virility and BROCUS and like a bingo that ate his masters food, he finds he must kowtow, grovel, beseech, wheedle, brown-nose, crawl, creep, cower, snivel and prostrate to be allowed back in the house.
This is a man that strut like a colossus as he insulted Jonathan and his wife in that era that seems so long ago when there was honour in expressing personal opinions and making it flowery like Obahiagbon then when he beats his chest and says "I am conversant with the utilitarian purposes to which the gavel and the mace are deployed within the existential construction of pragmatic and routine legislative rendezvous. Suffice to say that I can pontificate ad-infinitum ..."
today all he can say is "la wo wo. Please. I beg. Sorry for me"

THE Law to be changed to allow couples have a civil partnership rather than get married

October 02, 2018

Law to be changed to allow couples have a civil partnership rather than get married

Millennials on social media have been saying things like "marriage is outdated" and, based on recent happenings, they might have a point.

Theresa May has announced that all couples in England and Wales will be able to choose to have a civil partnership rather than get married. This includes heterosexual couples, same-sex couples, and mixed-sex couples.

The move will provide greater security for unmarried couples and their families, the government said. And it will address the "imbalance" that allows same-sex couples to enter a civil partnership or get married - a choice denied to mixed-sex couples.

The current system was found in June to be in breach of European law.

The Supreme Court unanimously ruled in favour of Rebecca Steinfeld, 37, and Charles Keidan, 41, from London, who launched their own legal bid to be allowed to have a civil partnership.

The court said that the Civil Partnership Act 2004 was incompatible with the European Convention on Human Rights.
The couple has welcomed the news, but said "legislative action" and a clear timetable was now needed from government.
The Scottish government is also carrying out a consultation on allowing mixed-sex couples to enter into civil partnerships after the ruling.

''Nigeria is going to be the envy of the world soon'' - VP Osinbajo predicts

October 02, 2018

Vice President Yemi Osinbajo is very optimistic that sooner than later, Nigeria will be the envy of the world. Speaking at Independence day gala night which held at the state house, Abuja, Osinbajo said he has a strong conviction that Nigeria will do well.

“The reason why we are so optimistic is because we know that we are the best, we know we are going to excel, it may seem like it’s taking a while, and there are many problems, but every one of the over 1,000 days that I have been Vice President for, I grow stronger in my complete confidence that we are going to be the envy of the whole world in a few short years. Well, you might say that that is optimistic, why not, I am a Nigerian” Osinbajo said

Speaking Further, Osinbajo said
''A few years ago, a poll reported in The British Independent newspaper declared us the happiest people on earth. The same poll said that we were also amongst the most optimistic people on earth, despite everything that we’ve experienced as a nation. I agree with both assessments, in other words, that we are possibly one of the happiest in the world, but I must also add that we are by far the most humorous people on the face of the earth. Well, if you don’t agree with me, but I can tell you so many reasons why we are the most humourous.
A few months ago, an important Nigerian politician who was on his way to a trial in a court said he was abducted. And after he escaped from his abductors, he remained hiding on a tree for 11 hours. The most interesting part of that story is that many people online in particular, on the Internet, started to tell stories of different birds and how long those birds could remain perched on a tree. All these were the Nigerian contributions to that story.
Yet another very important politician insists, and still insists that the most important attribute for leadership is dancing, and boy could he dance! And for those who think that that is ridiculous at least 200,000 people voted for him in a particular election.
When I served as Adviser to the Attorney General of the Federation between 1987 and 1992, I had a driver who was always broke. But he was always so optimistic. He had 14 children, while I, his boss, had only one child at the time. And I asked him, “Why do you just keep having so many children?” Of course he had more than one wife. He said to me in Yoruba “I don’t know which of them can become President of Nigeria. So, the more I have, the better my chances.” How optimistic can you be? Only a Nigerian can be that optimistic.
Wherever we are from, from whatever part of this great country that we are from, whether we are from the North, the South-South, the South East, West, wherever, we have the same DNA. We love our country and this may not always be obvious, but you try insulting Nigeria if you are a foreigner and you will see our fierce and angry our reaction can be. A Nigerian can say the same thing, but if you’re a foreigner, don’t try it.
We love our food, we love our clothes, we love our merrymaking. We love to be successful and we love success. We are resilient, we are fair minded. Nigerians always fight for the underdog, we believe in justice and the rule of law, even though our system still can do much better. But we are by far one of the smartest and, perhaps, the most talented people on earth. And I don’t say that lightly.
In the US, Nigerians are the most educated ethnic group, not one of the most educated, but the most educated. Sixty per cent of Nigerians in the US, we are told, have college degrees. This is above the American average of 30%. And Nigerians in US are one of the highest income earners in the US, and I choose America as one example. Nigerians earn 25% more than the median US income.
The world’s fastest supercomputer was designed by a world-renowned inventor, Philip Emeagwali, a full-blown Nigerian. This means Nigeria has the patent for the world’s fastest computer. The wealthiest black African, a Nigerian. Isn’t that a good thing? We are also told that the wealthiest black woman in the world is also a Nigerian. Who knows who the next wealthiest African would be here or the next wealthiest African?
A Nigerian family, The Imafidons, who live in the UK, have been officially been declared the smartest family in the UK, a family of about six children who have excelled in their academics in incredible ways. The designer of that famous car, Chevrolet Volt, is a guy called Jelani Aliyu, he now works for the Nigerian government; super talented Nigerian from Sokoto State. And for those who think that we are only giants in technology and business, Anthony Joshua is the world’s best heavyweight boxer, for those who watch boxing.
Everybody is dancing to Nigerian music, and our traditional attires, especially our women attires and headgears have conquered Africa. Even our male attire, there’s just something about the Nigerian swag. Whether they like it or not, we Nigerians are just exceptional, we are just different. Anywhere you go, you know a Nigerian, don’t you recognize a Nigerian when you see one? You can just tell. If you see anyone reading a book on How to become self-confident, know that he is not a Nigerian, we are born self-confident.

APC National Working Committee dissociates self from ongoing APC primary in Lagos

The National Working committee (NWC) panel in charge of the All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship primary election in Lagos state has distanced itself from the ongoing exercise. The committee opposed the option A4 mode used in the election, expressing preference for secret ballot system.

Option A4, still known as open ballot, is a system where voters queue behind the agent or representative of their preferred candidates while secret ballot system is a process where a voter’s choice is confidential.

Babajide Sanwo-Olu, a former commissioner of the state, is leading Akinwunmi Ambode, governor of the state, by a landslide in the results of the election announced so far.  The exercise is currently holding in over 300 wards in the state

mother shares amazing story of the birth of her son who born inside a car wrapped in an amniotic sac

August 25, 2017
A mother has shared the amazing story of the birth her miracle son who was born inside the car while on their way to the hospital. According to her, labour started way too early and progressed fast. She had to push while inside the car and the baby came out wrapped in the amniotic sac. Read the full story below...
The human body is truly an amazing thing. On the 5th of August 2017 at about 10am I started having contractions. I was only 29 weeks and 4 days so I just figured they were Braxton hicks and decided to wait it out. After about 45 minutes of consistent contractions that were increasing in intensity, I decided I should probably go in. I there in some clothes. Grabbed my daughter some clothes, her my fiance And I left for the hospital. I dropped my daughter to her God mommy Nicole And headed to the hospital. Well the contractions continued to get closer together and more intense and before I knew it I knew it was time to push. I called 911 because I was so scared. They couldn't understand me between the screams with contractions. So I handed the phone to my fiance. I pulled my pants off and reached down, sure enough his head was right there. I pushed one time and my miracle baby was here. When I looked down I realized he was still completely wrapped in the amniotic sac. The dispatcher told us to pull over. But I knew we would make it to the hospital before they would make it to us. So I told Ean to keep driving. I was so scared. My Fiance was so calm driving and on the phone with 911. At first the baby was still and all I could do was pray he would be okay. And then I rubbed his face with my thumb and he pulled his little hands and feet up to his face as if he understood my prayers and wanted to reassure us he was okay. About 7 minutes passed that I held this miracle baby in my hands until we made it to the hospital. A familiar face came running out and grabbed my baby. He was born an caul. This happens 1 in every 80,000 births. Usually during c-section. He was 3lb 1oz. He doing wonderful all things considered all He went through I know he's going to be an awesome little man! ? he is truly a miracle baby. We are so blessed to be his parents
